For completeness this page gives information about a putting game played on a croquet lawn. It has been called 'golf croquet' (GC), but neither involves a croquet stroke nor bears much resemblence to golf! It does however hold a World Championship.
There seem to be many variants of the rules: the World Croquet Federation (WCF) rules, Croquet Association (CA) rules, Canadian or American 'GC' rules/laws. The (CA) Laws were updated in a silver booklet in March 2005 and have been altered to be almost identical with the WCF laws.
